For me, there are many reasons to visit the south texas botanical gardens in Austin, Texas. I love the proximity to the city, and I love the nature of the gardens. The gardens are an extension of the south texas farmers who are very involved over the years, and I feel like I get a real taste of their dedication. A great way to stay connected to farming and the local community.

On our last day in Texas, we visited the botanical garden at the University of Texas. The gardens are free to the public, but most of the activities you can find are paid. You can learn about how they collect their food and the techniques they use to preserve it. They also offer free guided tours to the plants in the garden, and are very good about letting you touch, smell and taste the plants for free.

The gardens are very cool and well organized, and they are definitely worth a visit, but we also felt that they were a bit too big for us to get a good photo or just a casual look at it all. When we were there we were told that some of the plants are “weirder than you think,” which doesn’t come as a surprise since they’re really big and they take up a lot of space.

Maybe they should have smaller portions instead of a bigger one? Like, say, a large section of a big garden would be enough to show off these plants. Then you wouldn’t be so distracted by the plants and you’d be able to see the entire garden at once.

It’s really hard to believe that this is a huge garden which has over 200,000 plants, but it is. Of course, it’s been over a century since the area was originally planted and the plants are still growing strong. But even though these plants are still strong, they’re definitely not as strong as they were when they were first planted.

I guess a really big garden would be a better description of the botanical gardens we have in south texas, but still its hard to believe that these gardens are almost as big as any in the united states. But they are. It is. But I still dont think they are as large as they use to be.
