I think the best thing to say about the Celtics is that no team is as consistent as them. As the most consistent team in the NBA, they have given up only 3 ties this year which is the lowest number of ties (that we have ever recorded) in an NBA season. Even with the losses, the Celtics have one the lowest goals allowed in the NBA. The number is 1.2 goals a game. That means that they should have only had to play 4.

Now, in the past few years the Celtics have made big upsets in the playoffs. They also defeated the then-1st seeded Detroit Shock in the opening round of this year’s WNBA Finals. But, somehow, they still lost to the then-3rd seeded Dallas Wings in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics have been one of the better teams of the last few years in the playoffs, with their overall record sitting at a very respectable.500. As a team, the Celtics, despite being 5th in the conference, are very deep in talent and have a very good chance of repeating as champ. They have the very real possibility of reaching the NBA Finals for the first time in a decade. But even if they do, I think they will be very disappointed.

For all the talk about how the Celtics are one of the most talented teams in the NBA, they are also one of the most disappointing. They don’t have that “one shot” mentality and that “one game” mentality. Their players are still very young and have plenty of room for growth. I’m hoping they can use this season to try and bring that “one shot” mentality to their team.
